Welcome to Singing Forest Montessori Eco School, our dedicated "home from home" campus for our youngest learners. Located in a secure, nurturing setting in Fourways/Witkoppen, Johannesburg, Singing Forest is specially designed for children in the Toddler Community (18 months – 3 years) and Pre-Primary/Children’s House (3 – 6 years) phases. This is the primary location that brings our philosophy—that "nature is a teacher too"—to life. Here, we provide an intimate, safe, and happy environment where children are rooted in nature, ensuring a secure foundation for lifelong learning and holistic growth.

The learning experience at Singing Forest is built upon the foundation of Authentic Montessori practice. Our classrooms are a carefully prepared environment, fully equipped with the complete range of Infant Community (18 months–3 years) and Casa dei Bambini (3–6 years) materials. This includes beautiful, self-correcting apparatus that invites children to engage in hands-on learning at their own pace. This stimulating setting is crucial for sensory integration, allowing children to refine their senses, develop their motor skills, and build the inner discipline necessary for sustained focus.

In this specialized environment, the curriculum focuses intensely on key developmental areas. Children master essential skills in Practical Life, leading to deep concentration and independence. Through sensorial materials, they naturally transition to understanding complex concepts in mathematics and geometry. Crucially, the period is rich in Language Acquisition, preparing them for literacy, while their active engagement provides the fundamental academic preparation that builds a lifelong love of learning and sets a strong foundation for future academic success.
